Building Lifetime in years	The time the building as a whole is being designed to last.
Flooring replacement interval in years	The period before the floorcovering is replaced. This figure is dependent on a wide range of factors including the area of use, the amount of wear and the need to change the floorings for reasons other than the flooring coming to the end of its life. These may include change of use or fashion. It should consider the manufacturers recommendation for the individual application under consideration.
