General requirements

Preparing resilient flooring for installation is good practice. Inspect the goods, checking in natural daylight for any visible faults and matching batch numbers. On rare occasions where an obvious defect is visible, this should not be installed. Floors that have already been installed will not be exchanged, however the manufacturer should be contacted for advice.

Storage and acclimatisation
Once ready, store the flooring in the installation environment for at least 24 hours, at approx 15-25°C and maximum 65 % relative humidity. This acclimatisation period ensures the product can be fitted without complications caused by shrinkage and expansion for instance.

Always seek the manufactures guidance on the appropriate adhesives when installing a glue-down resilient floor. Use an approved adhesive and follow the manufacturers instructions.
